D5 – Cosmetology update
Competition Registration Deadline has been corrected – the correct date is Monday, January 30, 2017. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Substitutions MUST occur before Monday, February 6, 2017. NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL OCCUR AT THE COMPETITION. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Texas Regulations are found on this web site. National contests are listed in the national technical standards a free download with your paid professional membership.
For each contest, the new “SkillsUSA: Clothing and Tools” app includes an overview, clothing requirements, and eligibility and safety guidelines, as well as lists the specific tools, equipment or materials that contestants need to provide. District directors are responsible for the information uploaded here. If you don’t see what you need contact your district director or the state office.
This Document should be downloaded and sent home with each student. It should be reviewed with their parent or guardian, signed and returned to the advisors. The advisor will then indicate this form has been reviewed and signed by checking the box at the bottom of each students registration and by entering the information on the registration page during registration or after the registration has closed. IT MUST BE COMPLETED FOR ALL EVENTS.
Those districts attending TSTC: District 4, District 5, District 10 must complete the form that applies below. These forms should be completed and signed by parent or guardian and returned to the advisor. Each advisor is responsible for turning this information into TSTC upon arrival. Students will not be allowed to compete without a completed TSTC liability form.
These forms should be printed and taken home to be completed by each student.
Once the information has been returned advisors, or the student, need to enter the information in their registration record.
