When you joined Skills USA you were emailed a PIN# that gives you access to the latest technical Standards. Use the source for contest requirements, tools needed, and the contest objective is. There are also contest descriptions on the Skills USA National site as well.
The Texas Regulations are located on the Skills USA Texas site along with any contest updates.
Visit the District 10 page often for any updated information.
Print the correct grading sheets for each exhibit or notebook and bring them with you.
Please utilize all of these sources to find contest information.

Leadership Development and Technical Skilled Competitions – Substitutions may not be made for individual competitions at the district level.

Team Events:  Advisors will notify the district director if a qualified contestant is unable to attend no later than 1 week before competition.  No more than 50% of a team may be substituted.

Substitutions may be made for any member of a team provided the substitute:

1.     Was a paid SkillsUSA member by the state deadline

2.     Paid a district registration fee

3.     Is a member of the local chapter entering the contest.

SkillsUSA Texas Personal Liability and Medical Release 

This Document should be downloaded and sent home with each student.  It should be reviewed with their parent or guardian, signed and returned to the advisors.  The advisor will then indicate this form has been reviewed and signed by checking the box at the bottom of each students registration and by entering the information on the registration page during registration or  after the registration has closed.  IT MUST BE COMPLETED.

Once the information has been returned advisors, or the student, need to enter the information in their registration record.  This information will be transferred to the state conference once your district has been closed.
