Tentative Agenda – Subject to Change

Leadership Development and Technical Skilled Competitions – Substitutions may not be made for individual competitions at the district level.

Team Events:  Advisors will notify the district director if a qualified contestant is unable to attend no later than 1 week before competition.  No more than 50% of a team may be substituted.

Substitutions may be made for any member of a team provided the substitute:

1.     Was a paid SkillsUSA member by the state deadline

2.     Paid a district registration fee

3.     Is a member of the local chapter entering the contest.

SkillsUSA Texas Personal Liability and Medical Release 

This Document should be downloaded and sent home with each student.  It should be reviewed with their parent or guardian, signed and returned to the advisors.  The advisor will then indicate this form has been reviewed and signed by checking the box at the bottom of each students registration and by entering the information on the registration page during registration or  after the registration has closed.  IT MUST BE COMPLETED.

Those districts attending TSTC:  District 4, District 5, District 10 must complete the form that applies below.  These forms should be completed and signed by parent or guardian and returned to the advisor.  Each advisor is responsible for turning this information into TSTC upon arrival.  Students will not be allowed to compete without a completed TSTC liability form.   TSTC Map

These forms should be printed and taken home to be completed by each student.

Once the information has been returned advisors, or the student, need to enter the information in their registration record.  This information will be transferred to the state conference once your district has been closed.
