Texas Regulations are found on this web site.   National contests are listed in the national technical standards a free download with your paid professional membership. 

For each contest, the new “SkillsUSA: Clothing and Tools” app includes an overview, clothing requirements, and eligibility and safety guidelines, as well as lists the specific tools, equipment or materials that contestants need to provide. The app is available now in both the Apple Store: http://apple.co/2dtlb8d and the Google Play Store: http://bit.ly/2e5fRec. Hello all! I have some updates on the website for contests, skillsusatxdistrict3.org. As I get more, I will post there. Things to remember: – Memberships must be submitted by February 1st. – Tech Chair Meeting in Levelland on February 3rd, 9:00AM. – District Registrations are due February 10th. – Officer Nomination Forms are Due to me on February 10th. – Cosmetology Kit Check is on February 16th – District officer interviews and Test are on February 16th. – District contest and Awards are February 17-18th at SPC Levelland. (I am still finalizing the agenda with SPC) – Legislative Day is February 19-20 in Austin. Register through the SkillsUSA website. As always, call me or e-mail me with any concerns or questions. District III General Regulations  Updated 1-22-2016

District directors are responsible for the information uploaded here.  If you don’t see what you need contact your district director or the state office.  Click on link to download document   SkillsUSA Texas Personal Liability and Medical Release This Document should be downloaded and sent home with each student.  It should be reviewed with their parent or guardian, signed and returned to the advisors.  The advisor will then indicate this form has been reviewed and signed by checking the box at the bottom of each students registration and by entering the information on the registration page during registration or  after the registration has closed.  IT MUST BE COMPLETED FOR ALL EVENTS.
